| Abstract |
This action is based on a previous HERCULE project, implementing a research network of anti-corruption agencies (ACAs). The conference will be a forum for 63 academics and practitioners in the field of anticorruption in Europe and abroad, where experiences and knowledge about the role, competences and activities of ACAs will be exchanged. The aim is to empower ACAs by helping them to defy institutional failure and to build preventive and repressive competences by using their internal resources and competences. The workshop will assess ways of empowering the ACAs based on a three-pronged strategy: to defy institutional competencies and to build preventive and repressive competencies. |
