| Abstract |
The overall goal of this project is to disclose how financial markets silently turned into important social structures, setting conditions for individuals’ daily lives, and how such structures are socially constructed. This project connects financial markets and other social realms in order to highlight the ways in which belief systems spill over to markets; and conversely how financial market belief systems influence other social dimensions.We perceive financial markets as social institutions that cannot be separated from power relations. |
