career

intersection

health
systems,
health
workforce
policy,
public
policy,
and
global
health
governance,
with
strong
international
engagement.I
currently
coordinate
the
WHO
Collaborating
Centre
on
Health
Workforce
Policy
and
Planning,
leading
teams
and
projects
across
Europe,
Africa,
and
the
Americas,
including
Portuguese-speaking
countries.
I
serve
as
Principal
Investigator
on
projects
funded
by
the
European
Commission,
WHO,
and
national
governments,
focusing
on
vaccine
hesitancy,
health
workforce
policies,
and
institutional
capacity
building.From
an
editorial
perspective,
I
have
recently
concluded
my
term
as
Editor-in-Chief
of
the
International
Journal
of
Health
Planning
and
Management
(Wiley)
and
have
been
appointed
Editor-in-Chief
of
the
European
Journal
of
Public
Health
(Oxford
University
Press
and
European
Public
Health
