Lisbon
(IHMT-NOVA).
He
is
also
an
associate
researcher
at
the
CIES-Instituto
Universitário
de
Lisboa.His
teaching
and
research
interests
include
the
relationships
among
health
policies,
systems,
organizations
and
professions;
medical
epistemology
and
social
theory
applied
to
health.
On
these
topics,
he
has
published
extensively,
coordinated
undergraduate
and
postgraduate
courses,
participated
(as
a
leader
and
partner)
in
Portuguese
and
international
research
projects
and
networks,
organized
scientific
events,
promoted
dissemination
activities
and
provided
technical
advice
to
Portuguese
institutions
and
foreign
companies.He
is
the
