Vera
Rodrigues
has
an
Msc
in
Social
Anthropology
from
the London
School
of
Economics
and
Political
Science,
and
she is
a PhD
Candidate
in Urban
Studies at
the
ISCTE-IUL.
For
her
dissertation
project
she
is
studying
the
access
that
migrants
have
to
health
care,
and
what
kinds
of
health
care
needs
they
have
in
superdiverse
metropolitan
areas
(Lisbon
and
Boston).
Furthermore,
she worked
in
three
different
transnational
research
projects
funded
by
European
Union,
carried
out
at
CIES-IUL.
Two
of
them
were
related
with
social
inequalities
at
different
stages
(eg.
one
project
was
about
second
generation
of
young
migrants,
the
second
project
was
about
homeless
young
people
and
those
at
risk
of
homelessness),
and
the
last
one
was
focused
on
migrants’
health. Her research
interests
are
related
to
health
and
migration
in
urban
ethnic
spaces.
