With
a
degree
in
Sociology
since
2006,
and
a
Masters
in
Labor
Studies
since
2011,
Ana
is
now
taking
a
PhD
in
Communications
and
Information
at
ISCTE-IUL.
Between
2008
and
2011
she
was
an
academic
research
assistant
at
CIES-IUL,
having
participated
in
investigation
projects
of
various
areas.
Since
2012
begins
to
work
for
AMAEI
-
Independent
Music
Association,
a
non-profit
professional
association
aiming
to
defend
and
promoting
the
Portuguese
independent
music
labels
and
artists,
and
this
professional
involvement
has
allowed
her
to
develop
several
projects
with
the
objective
of
professionalizing
and
capacitating
the
nacional
phonographic
sector.
Thus,
in
2016
she
began
her
PhD
in
Communication
and
Information
Sciences,
where
she
is
developing
a
study
on
the
transformation
of
the
national
music
industry
in
the
context
of
the
digital
age
since
the
turn
of
the
millennium,
crossing
the
areas
of
communication
and
media
with
the
study
of
cultural
industries,
