Margarida Barroso
Margarida Barroso is a researcher at the Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology - Lisbon University Institute. Her research focuses work, organisations, occupations, gender, education and social policy.  She has participated in several national and international research projects regarding the labour market integration of vulnerable groups, namely youngsters, women, and working carers, and the organisational strategies to promote job quality and general well-being. She completed her PhD in 2013 with a thesis on the evolution of quality of working life in the context of the economic crisis, that compared the living and working conditions of Portuguese and Swedish middle managers in the same multinational company. In her post-doctoral research, she undertook a comparative study of the organisational strategies to tackle the economic crisis in south Europe (Portugal, Spain and Greece).
