Policy
from
Iscte
–
Instituto
Universitário
de
Lisboa
(Iscte-IUL),
awarded
in
2024.
He
is
a
social
researcher
specializing
in
comparative
social
policy,
with
a
particular
focus
on
income
support
schemes
inspired
by
the
concept
of
basic
income.
His
most
recent
research,
funded
by
the
Portuguese
Foundation
for
Science
and
Technology
(FCT,
ref.
SFRH/BD/136071/2018),
developed
a
municipalist
perspective
on
Europeanisation
processes
in
social
policy.
Prior
to
this,
he
conducted
a
historical-comparative
study
on
labour
market
segmentation
in
the
Lisbon
district,
titled
"Labour
Market
Segmentation
Between
Generations
(Millennials
vs.
Xers):
A
View
on
Lisbon
from
1986
to
2016".
He
has
also
worked
as
a
sociologist
and
educator
in
the
vocational
education
and
training
(VET)
system,
where
he
contributed
to
strategic
planning
and
taught
modules
on
social
inequalities
and
social
policy.

his
PhD,
he
was
invited
to
lecture
in
the
