The new Scientific Committee of CIES-Iscte, composed of Cláudia Álvares, Helge Jörgens, Patrícia Ávila e Sandra Mateus, , took office on 17 October for the 2022-25 mandate.

The session was attended by the Board of Directors of the Centre, which highlighted the importance of cementing the recently reorganised research groups and promoting the internationalisation of the Centre's activities.

The Scientific Committee is composed of the Director and four PhD holders, elected by the Scientific Council of CIES-Iscte under the terms of the Centre's Regulation.

CIES-Iscte congratulates the new members of the Scientific Committee and thanks the work and dedication of the previous Committee which is now leaving office, composed by: Guya Accornero, Luís Capucha, Maria João Vaz and Rosário Mauritti.
