In the first edition of the R&D Awards, CIES-Iscte awarded 43 researchers.
The CIES R&D Awards aim to recognize and promote research developed by the center's researchers.
In this edition, the prizes were awarded according to two categories:
a) Scientific Publication Award, which aims to reward the scientific publication that occurred in the calendar year prior to the edition of the award;
b) Prize for Research and Development Projects (R&D), which aims to reward project applications or studies approved in the calendar year prior to the edition of the prize.
The scientific awards were handed out at the end of the CIES Research Forum, on the afternoon of May 19th 2023.
