To recognize and promote the research conducted by CIES-Iscte researchers, a total of 44 team members were honoured in the second edition of the R&D awards.

The prizes were awarded in two categories:

a) Scientific Publications, which aim to reward scientific publications from the calendar year before the edition of the award;

b) Research and Development (R&D) Projects, which aim to reward applications for projects or studies approved in the calendar year before the award.

In this edition, 65 publications were honoured, consisting of 60 scientific articles and five books, as well as eight research projects.

Compared to the previous edition, CIES had three more researchers honoured.
