On April 8, ICS-ULisboa is organizing a session to present the book The Politics of Books, by Filipe Carreira da Silva (ICS-ULisboa and University of Cambridge) and Mónica Brito Vieira (University of York), published by Mundos Sociais of CIES-Iscte.

The book will be presented by Mariana Teixeira (CFUL), with commentary by Susana da Cruz (Mundos Sociais, Iscte). From 11am, in Room 2 of ICS-ULisboa and online.

Theoretically sophisticated and thoroughly researched, The Politics of Books promises to profoundly change our understanding of what it means to do social and political theory and its history. Of interest to the general public, it is particularly recommended to anyone interested in the history of the book, social and political thought and social and political theory.
