The presentation of the book The Blinded City. Ten Years in Inner-City Johannesburg by the author, Mathew Wilhelm-Salomon, is a pretext to take advantage of the author's visit to Portugal to discuss the marginalization and segregation of urban populations in the urban centers themselves, occupations and their various dimensions, evictions.

The event will be in English and moderated by the organizers, Joana Pestana Lages (DINAMIA'CET) and Rita Cachado (CIES).
