The Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology (CIES-Iscte) of Iscte – University Institute of Lisbon will host, on 29 and 30 October 2026, the international meeting of the International Association of French-Speaking Sociologists, dedicated to the theme “Saisir et représenter le travail” (“Grasping and Representing Work”).

In this context, the call for papers is now open, focusing on trade union challenges, forms of regulation, power dynamics, and transformations in trade union representation. Proposals (maximum 2,500 characters) may be submitted in French or Portuguese until 1 March 2026 to the following address: cr25lisbonne2026@iscte-iul.pt.
