Rita Ochoa (Tomar, 1973).Architect, co-founder of the Association "Women in Architecture". Graduated in “Architecture” in 1997 from Faculty of Architecture (Technical University of Lisbon). In 2003, she finishes a Postgraduate Course in “Qualification of the City” from the Faculty of Engineering (Portuguese Catholic University) and in 2008 she receives a Master’s Degree in “Urban Design” from Faculty of Fine Arts (University of Barcelona).In 2011 she concludes an International Doctorate in “Public Space and Urban Regeneration” from the Faculty of Fine Arts (University of Barcelona) – Thesis title: City and Waterfront. Articulator Role of Public Space (maximum rating Sobresaliente Cum Laude). Member of the Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology (ISCTE-IUL/UBI) and of the Polis Research Centre – Research Group Art, City and Society (University of Barcelona).
