Director
of
the
Institute
for
Public
and
Social
Policies
(IPPS)
at
Iscte
–
University
Institute
of
Lisbon,
and
also
teaches
in
master's
and
doctoral
programs
at
Iscte
and
at
the
School
of
Social
Sciences
and
Humanities
of
Universidade
Nova
de
Lisboa
(FCSH-UNL).Her
academic
work
sits
at
the
intersection
of
public
policy,
data-driven
decision-making,
and
education
policy.
She
has
conducted
relevant
research
on
the
Portuguese
teaching
workforce
and
currently
leads
a
large-scale
project
on
foreign-national
students
in
the
Portuguese
public
education
system,
contributing
to
the
understanding
of
integration
dynamics
and
the
challenges
the
education
system
faces
amid
growing
student
diversity. As
a
permanent
researcher
with
the
ICS/Iscte
polling
group,
Flores
actively
participates
in
multidisciplinary
teams
dedicated
to
public
policy
evaluation,
combining
quantitative
analysis
skills
with
critical
reflection
on
policy
design
and
implementation.
