He

Communication
Sciences
from
ISCTE-IUL,
a
Master's

in
Journalism,
and
a
Bachelor's
degree
in
Public
Relations
and
Corporate
Communication
from
the
School
of
Social
Communication
of
the
Polytechnic
Institute
of
Lisbon.The
study
of
journalistic
practices
and
specializations
has
been
the
central
topic
of
his
research.
He
is
an
Assistant
Professor
at
the
Autonomous
University
of
Lisbon
(UAL),
where
he
coordinates
the
Bachelor's
degree
in
Communication
Sciences,
and
a
researcher
at
the
Nova
Institute
of
Communication
(ICNova),
the
Laboratory
for
Applied
Research
in
Communication
and
Media
(LIACOM),
the
Center
for
Research
and
Studies
in
Sociology
(CIES)
at
ISCTE,
and
the
Research
Center
in
Media
Practices
and
