of
public
policies
and
programs
and
projects.
In
her
doctoral
thesis
entitled
"Trans
Genders.
A
sociological
approach
to
gender
diversity”,
she
mapped
the
diversity
of
(trans)
gender
identities
and
expressions
in
Portuguese
society.
The
most
recent
research
projects
include
the
project
"Transsexuality
and
Transgender:
Gender
Identities
and
Expressions
(2007-2010)",
which
took
place
at
CIES-IUL,
funded
by
FCT
-
Foundation
for
Science
and
Technology;
the
project
"Processes
of
social
inclusion

women
