Pinho
is
a
sociologist
and
holds
a
PhD
degree
in
sociology
awarded
by
Iscte-Instituto
Universitário
de
Lisboa.Her
research
interests
have
focused
mainly
on
international
migration
(Portuguese
emigration
and
the
return
of
migrants,
Brazilian
migration
to
Portugal,
migration
policies,
refugees)
youth
and,
lately,
also
housing
(she
collaborates
with
the
LxHabidata
project).Assistant
Professor
at
the
Departament
of
Methods
of
Social
Research,
the
School
of
Sociology
and
Public
Policy
(ESPP),
is
also
a
researcher
at
CIES,
Iscte.She has
worked
as independent
researcher/consultant
on
a
variety
of
