Four researchers from CIES-Iscte were selected for contracts under the Competition for Scientific Employment Incentive - Individual (CEEC), of the Foundation for Science and Technology:

Principal Investigator: João Carvalho (Political Science, 1st on the list and only approved).

Assistant Researcher: Anne Schippling (Education Sciences, 1st on the list)

Junior Researcher: Tiago Carvalho (Sociology, 1st on the list)

Researcher Junior: Juan Pablo Aris Escarcena (Sociology, 6th on the list)

The Individual CEEC is one of the funding instruments for hiring researchers defined by the Scientific Employment Regulation launched in 2017 by FCT.

In this 4th edition 3,730 applications were evaluated and 400 researchers were selected.
