The Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology (CIES-Iscte) at Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa will host, on 29 and 30 October 2026, the international conference of the Association Internationale des Sociologues de Langue Française (AISLF), dedicated to the theme "Saisir et représenter le travail".

This gathering brings together French-speaking researchers around the multiple ways of capturing and representing work, across its theoretical, methodological and empirical dimensions, fostering scholarly debate and exchange between different sociological traditions.
